The gym was unusually crowded. Most of the people I did not recognize. I looked at my training partners and asked “Where did all these people come from?”
It was Thanksgiving morning 1993 at Gold’s Gym in Lynbrook NY.
After discussing with a few of the regulars, we agreed the gym is always busy on holiday mornings because people want to get away from their families…maybe so.
I like to believe people want to get a workout in to prepare for an all day feast.
That is exactly what I am going to do this year.
I am thankful for the opportunity to train outside, enjoy the weather, and start my day off right with a cup of coffee and this challenge workout.
- 3 mile trail run
- 100 suspension trainer push ups
- 100 pull ups
- 150 squat jumps
- 50 knee to elbows
- 100 kettle bell swings
Take action, avoid the gym crowds, train outdoors, train hard, and eat big!
Happy Thanksgiving from Outdoor Fitness Project!
