3 Minute Asparagus

Cooking fresh food is not always the quickest process so whenever I learn a new way to speed up a healthy meal, I get excited. 

Asparagus is good for you and tasty. 

The most common cooking method is steaming or grilling. Both methods take several minutes. 

This is how you make asparagus in 3 minutes. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 bundle of asparagus cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 or 2 tablespoons of coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • lemon
  • optional - shredded parmesan cheese

Directions:

in a skillet on medium heat, add the oil and chopped up asparagus. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Salt to taste and remove from heat. Squeeze lemon over the cooked asparagus, top with cheese and serve. Asparagus should be a little al dente. That’s it, enjoy!
